In the event of an emergency, Delta Trading L.P. has prepared an Emergency Evacuation and Action Plan to ensure the safety of our employees, contractors and the public. Operating personnel are trained to shutdown the facility, evacuate to a safe location, and notify appropriate governmental first responders.
Delta Trading L.P. is committed to the highest standard of compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. Strict adherence to our Process Safety Management Program and demonstrated superior regulatory compliance has led to Delta Trading, L.P. joining Kern County’s Performance Incentive Program (PIP).
Proper and timely notification is imperative to allow government agencies to take prompt action to protect public health and safety, the environment, and property. If the release of oil in any way causes harm or threatens to cause harm to public health and safety, the environment, or property Delta Trading, L.P. makes immediate notification to the Office of Emergency Services, Kern County Environmental Health Services, and CHEMTREC.
